United Way Kick Off

ACCA staff attended the United Way kick off breakfast this morning at the Classic Center in downtown Athens.  Scott Morrisey, 2012 Campaign Chair, and Chuck Dowdle, Honorary Chair were great entertainers for all of the attendees and got the community fired up about the kickoff of the United Way of Northeast Georgia’s 2012 campaign. Next, ACCA participated in the Day of Caring tradition with volunteers from Carrier in Athens.  They came out and cleaned all of windows, weeded some of the flower beds, brought Bingo prizes, played bingo and hosted an ice cream social with our clients.  They clients and the volunteers had a great time.  ACCA appreciates Carrier coming out and supporting the United Ways campaign efforts and ACCA today on this Day of Caring.  Thank you.
