Dementia Resource Center

Dementia Resource Center logo
The Athens Community Council on Aging has been dedicated to serving the needs of the Greater Athens community and creating an inclusive environment for all since its inception in 1967. With the current lack of dementia care resources and the necessity for an overarching, dementia-forward program, The Dementia Resource Center was established to address these needs from within the programming and services of the greater ACCA. Built upon four core pillars – education, support, enrichment, and care, the Dementia Resource Center offers a positive, supportive, and understanding approach to demonstrate how full life can still be following a diagnosis.

Thank you for Joining us to celebrate the launch of our Dementia Resource Center!

We hosted an open house to celebrate the official launch of our newest program: our Dementia Resource Center. Attendees got to learn more about our newest program, met with our community partners, and tuned in to a panel discussion with key experts on dementia.

For more information about the Dementia Resource Center, please contact Kellye Morgan at kmorgan@accaging.org or (706) 549-4850.
